International Affairs

Effective participation in world affairs requires knowledge and expertise that transcend single disciplines. Building upon our long tradition of the multi-disciplinary study of international relations, the Masters in International Affairs of the Graduate Institute is an innovative two-year programme that prepares students to analyse, think and act with an interdisciplinary perspective.

It offers:

  • A unique combination of theoretical preparation in economics, history, law and political science, as well as interdisciplinary courses and seminars on selected themes in international affairs and professional workshops.
  • An international student body.
  • An ideal location - Geneva - a multicultural city at the heart of multilateralism and of public-private interactions in world politics.
